A poem

28 September 2015

Something a little light-hearted, I had to write a poem about the business portraits I do here in Christchurch. I tried to put a really sad tone on voice on when reading it…but could not get past the first line without some giggles!

In the wistful evenings a lonely person thinks of their LinkedIn portrait,
they knew that they could have had a image that created a feel and light that they wanted to shine through,
but they settled for something less.

Dusky morning and sending a heartfelt message to a potential client,
oh to have a email signature in that they look good, feel great and portray the approachable professionalism that is their brand,
but they settled for something less.

Busy evening networking event, dressed to the nines and on fire,
the frown that comes when the business card is requested, and sadly handed over because you know the image could have been great,
but they settled for something less.

Surfing the net and researching potential companies.
a prospect stumbles across your awesome new website, helped by great SEO and mobile compatibility, but they get to the about page and then leave,
as they settled for something less.

But things can change.
Etta Images has “Bring a friend Friday”, where two people can have their stunning professional business portrait created for just $500 + GST, increasing the professionalism of their brand,
don’t settle for something less.
